Job summary

BMW CPO of Nashville, a Sonic Automotive family dealership, seeks an Apprentice Technician who will perform repair and maintenance work under the guidance of a mentor. The program includes tuition reimbursement and a guaranteed minimum monthly income during the apprenticeship.

You must be a current student or graduate of an automotive technician training school, possess a valid driver's license, and be authorized to work in the USA. All duties are performed with safety and quality in mind.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or the equivalent.
• Graduation from a valid automotive technical training program.
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA.
• All applicants must perform their duties and responsibilities in a safe manner.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repair and maintenance work as assigned by the team leader.
• Diagnose causes of malfunctions and perform repairs.
• Call upon your Mentor, Team Leader or Shop Foreman when you have a question or need assistance.
• Examine the vehicle to determine if additional service work is recommended.
• Attend factory-sponsored training classes and keep abreast of factory technical bulletins.
