Job summary

VA Puget Sound Health Care System in Seattle, WA, seeks a board-certified Bone Marrow Transplant Director to lead the MTU within Hematology/Oncology and to oversee inpatient and outpatient activities. The role emphasizes academic medicine, teaching, and collaboration with UW/Fred Hutch.

Qualifications

• MD with current medical license and board certification in Hematology and/or Oncology.
• Dual board certification in Hematology/Oncology strongly preferred.
• Eligible for VA appointment; strong academic and clinical track record.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily administrative and clinical operations of the Bone Marrow Transplant Unit (MTU).
• Manage MTU inpatient wards, MTU outpatient and subspecialty clinic areas.
• Provide leadership in teaching, research, and clinical program expansion.
