This role focuses on developing automated test frameworks for Battery Management Systems, validating against aerospace standards, and supporting test hardware and cohesive teamwork. Applicants should be in 3rd or 4th year and ready to contribute in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer, or Aerospace Engineering.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language, preferably Python or MATLAB.
• Basic understanding of control systems and familiarity with lab equipment.
• Familiarity with interpreting electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with attention to detail.
• Self-starter and proactive team player in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze BMS system requirements and airworthiness specs to create test cases.
• Design and implement automated test sequences using Python or MATLAB.
• Develop test hardware interfaces and simulate operating conditions.
• Cover corner cases and fault injection scenarios to validate safety responses.
• Troubleshoot test setup, scripts, and BMS hardware with engineers.
• Document test framework and generate traceability reports.
