Job summary

Job description

  • 2-5 years’ experience in the HVAC controls industry (or school equivalent)
  • Familiarity with LonWorks, BACnet, or Modbus open communication protocols
  • Niagara AX or N4 Framework Certified
  • A strong background with Windows OS

Responsibilities:

  • Interpret and implement mechanical and control drawings and project documents
  • Program microprocessors for initial commissioning, tune of control loops and calibration of sensors
  • Commission operation of mechanical system equipment and sensors via the control system
  • Identify deficiencies with points, equipment, and systems
  • Set up and install communication devices for remote operations: PC’s, routers, switches, repeaters, VPN, etc.
  • Coordinate with customer IT departments for data base connectivity, remote access, and other IT infrastructure needs
  • Ensure all as-built and record drawings, sketches, and wiring changes and returned for updating
  • Instruct customer or end-user on system operation
  • Promote, maintain, enhance new and existing customer relationships
  • Participate in education and training programs in electronic controls and energy conservation programming
  • Assist TAB, Commissioning and Service Technicians in verification of their system testing when required
  • Set-up, program, and configure GUI / host workstations
  • Panel fabrication, wire termination and wire installation as needed
