Job summary

Banner Health Corporate in Mesa, AZ is seeking a skilled Plant Mechanic to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Building Management Systems and critical plant equipment. Based in the ROC, you will support facility-based personnel and coordinate with teams to ensure safe and efficient operations.

The role involves preventative and corrective maintenance of boilers, chillers, generators, and related infrastructure, with a Monday–Friday schedule and potential field service tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Three+ years of diversified work experience as a plant mechanic, stationary engineer, boiler operator, or refrigeration mechanic.
• High school diploma/GED or equivalent with vocational/technical training.
• Working knowledge of utility and infrastructure systems in a healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Repair, adjust, and calibrate field hardware within building control systems (BMS) and related plant equipment.
• Assist ROC BMS Technicians and Analysts to ensure reliable, safe facility operations.
• Coordinate with Facilities Teams and contractors to maintain and improve plant infrastructure.
