Job Description

As a BMS/Control Systems Design Engineer you will join a growing team of Electrical and Control System Engineers, Control System Integration Engineers, and Technicians. Your primary role is designing instrumentation and control systems for Data Centers. Projects range from high-level conceptual designs to detailed site designs and retrofits, factory witness testing of equipment, and construction administration and verification. You will coordinate with other engineering disciplines, teams, subconsultants, clients, vendors, and contractors to ensure Data Center Building Management Systems are designed and constructed properly. You will be responsible for managing your tasks including the Building Management System (BMS) design, specifications, and drawings. This position may require occasional travel to project sites for meetings, information gathering, and construction administration.

  • Selection and specification of process instrumentation.
  • Selection and specification of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Human Machine Interface (HMI) equipment.
  • Selection and specification of networking components and media including copper, fiber, and wireless hardware.
  • Development of control system (BMS) sequences of operations.
  • Submittal review and field inspections.
  • Task Management
