Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a BMET I to join Lowell General Hospital’s healthcare technology management team. You will help ensure medical equipment operates safely, accurately, and efficiently to support patient care.

In this hands-on role, you’ll perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, testing, and repairs, collaborating with clinical teams to resolve issues and drive reliability. This is a path with growth in healthcare technology management.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent biomedical experience required.
• Experience with medical equipment maintenance preferred.
• Familiarity with safety and regulatory requirements is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and maintain medical equipment.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate service records and assist with audits and remediation.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to resolve technical issues and ensure patient care quality.
