We are seeking a BMD Project Engineer.
Your experience and technical abilities determine your placement. This is a remote position with minimum 50% travel.
Duties:
ESN is looking for Senior Navy Combat System experts to support our Navy Surface Warfare Center (NSWC-PHD) client. We seek motivated individuals to provide technical and engineering support for planning, execution, and post-event analysis of AEGIS Combat System Ship Qualification Trials (CSSQT) and Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) Test and Evaluation (T&E) events. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Qualifications:
Candidates should have extensive knowledge and experience with AEGIS Combat System (ACS), AEGIS Weapon System (AWS), Tomahawk Weapon System, shipboard radar systems, and other combat systems. Proven experience operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and testing shipboard electronic systems is essential. Ideal candidates will have recent experience as a Combat System Maintenance Manager (CSMM) on an AEGIS DDG or CG.
Minimum requirements include:
Education:
U.S. Navy certification in Fire Control Navy Enlisted Codes (NECs) related to ACS, AWS, ACI/Networks, or other integrated weapon systems. A high school diploma is required; an AS/BS degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field is helpful but not mandatory.
