Job summary

Primoris Energy Services is seeking skilled Carpenters to perform a variety of construction and maintenance tasks on industrial and commercial projects in Sherman, Texas. You will work with wood, concrete, and other materials to build and repair structures, ensuring quality and safety on every phase of the project.

This is a direct-hire role requiring 2–5 years of Carpenter experience, ability to read blueprints and drawings, and solid knowledge of carpentry techniques.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–5 years of Carpenter experience, preferably in industrial or commercial setting.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of carpentry techniques, methods, and procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
• Commitment to safety and OSHA regulations.
• Valid driver's license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Construct, erect, install, and repair structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, and wallboard.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements.
• Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, fiberglass, drywall, and other materials.
• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
• Install doors, windows, and various fixtures and trim.
• Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
