Job summary

Itero Group, LLC is seeking an experienced Blue Yonder WMS Engineer to support, administer, and optimize Blue Yonder WMS environments and related warehouse applications in a hands-on role.

This position collaborates with warehouse operations, infrastructure, and development teams to ensure system availability, drive performance improvements, and successful deployments, cutovers, and go-lives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years supporting Warehouse Management Systems and related warehouse technology.
• Hands-on Blue Yonder WMS experience is required.
• Experience configuring, supporting, troubleshooting, and maintaining Blue Yonder WMS in a production warehouse environment.
• Strong SQL skills for data analysis, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Experience with incident and change management processes and tools such as ServiceNow.
• Experience supporting Windows and/or Linux-based applications and systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on WMS support, administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Configure and support Blue Yonder WMS functionality across warehouse operations, including Receiving, Putaway, Inventory, Picking, Packing, Shipping, and Labor.
• Provide Tier 2 application support and coordinate with Tier 1, Tier 3, infrastructure, development teams, and vendors for incident resolution and escalation.
• Troubleshoot complex application, configuration, integration, interface, and production issues.
• Use SQL for data analysis, application diagnostics, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Analyze application and system logs to identify errors, integration failures, performance issues, and production incidents.
• Support integrations between Blue Yonder WMS and related ERP, TMS, carrier, shipping, SaaS, automation, and warehouse systems.
• Support Windows/Linux server-based peripheral systems and applications integrated with the WMS environment.
• Install, configure, test, deploy, and support software associated with Blue Yonder WMS and related warehouse solutions.
• Perform application development, configuration, scripting, or technical changes to resolve issues and improve functionality.
• Develop and implement technical solutions to improve performance, reliability, and efficiency.
• Support application releases, upgrades, patches, and production deployments.
• Participate in change and release management activities including CAB processes.

Itero Group is seeking an experienced Blue Yonder WMS Engineer to support the implementation, administration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of Blue Yonder Warehouse Management System (WMS) solutions and related warehouse applications.
This is a hands-on technical role responsible for supporting the Blue Yonder WMS environment, resolving complex application and integration issues, performing root cause analysis, supporting software releases and deployments, and developing technical solutions to improve system performance and warehouse operations.
The WMS Engineer will work closely with warehouse operations, application support, infrastructure, development teams, vendors, and other technical resources to maintain system availability and resolve production issues. The individual will also provide hands-on technical support for WMS implementations, enhancements, upgrades, testing, cutovers, go-lives, and post-production stabilization.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical support, administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting for Blue Yonder Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Configure and support Blue Yonder WMS functionality across warehouse operations, including Receiving, Putaway, Inventory, Picking, Packing, Shipping, and Labor.
• Provide Tier 2 application support and coordinate with Tier 1, Tier 3, infrastructure, development teams, and vendors for incident resolution and escalation.
• Troubleshoot complex application, configuration, integration, interface, and production issues.
• Use SQL for data analysis, application diagnostics, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Analyze application and system logs to identify errors, integration failures, performance issues, and underlying causes of production incidents.
• Support integrations between Blue Yonder WMS and related ERP, TMS, carrier, shipping, SaaS, automation, and warehouse systems.
• Support Windows/Linux server-based peripheral systems and applications integrated with the WMS environment.
• Install, configure, test, deploy, and support software associated with Blue Yonder WMS and related warehouse solutions.
• Perform application development, configuration, scripting, or technical changes as needed to resolve issues and improve application functionality.
• Develop and implement technical solutions to improve application performance, system reliability, and operational efficiency.
• Support application releases, upgrades, patches, and production deployments.
• Participate in change and release management activities, including technical review and CAB processes.
• Provide technical support for Blue Yonder WMS implementations, enhancements, migrations, and warehouse start-ups.
• Participate in system, integration, regression, and User Acceptance Testing and assist with defect identification and resolution.
• Provide hands-on technical support during system cutovers, production go-lives, and post-go-live stabilization/hypercare.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues during implementations and system deployments.
• Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity exercises for supported applications.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, configuration documentation, support procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
• Provide technical guidance and knowledge transfer to junior application support resources.
• Attend technical and application status meetings and communicate progress against support, development, and implementation activities.
• Collaborate with warehouse operations and technical teams to identify opportunities for system optimization, automation, and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Supply Chain Technology, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of experience supporting Warehouse Management Systems and related warehouse technology applications.
• Hands-on Blue Yonder WMS experience is required.
• Experience configuring, supporting, troubleshooting, and maintaining Blue Yonder WMS in a production warehouse environment.
• Strong understanding of warehouse processes, including Receiving, Putaway, Inventory, Picking, Packing, Shipping, and Labor.
• Strong SQL skills for data analysis, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Experience interpreting application and system logs and diagnosing complex production issues.
• Experience troubleshooting WMS interfaces, integrations, and data-related issues.
• Experience with application installation, configuration, testing, releases, upgrades, and production deployments.
• Experience supporting WMS implementations, system enhancements, cutovers, go-lives, and post-production stabilization.
• Experience with incident and change management processes and tools such as ServiceNow.
• Experience supporting Windows and/or Linux-based applications and systems.
• Familiarity with cloud-based and SaaS application architectures.
• Strong technical troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively with warehouse operations, application teams, infrastructure teams, developers, vendors, and other technical resources.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS), carrier management, or shipping applications.
• Experience supporting WMS integrations with ERP, TMS, automation, and other supply chain platforms.
• Experience with APIs, application integrations, scripting, or software development.
• Experience with warehouse automation and peripheral technologies.
• Experience supporting new warehouse implementations or facility start-ups.
• Knowledge of application performance monitoring and system optimization.
