Job summary

Sawdey Solution Services is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to support the DCMA Blue List program on-site at the San Diego facility. The role requires strong cybersecurity expertise across embedded systems, software, and supply-chain security, with DoD framework knowledge and the ability to communicate complex findings to government stakeholders.

The position involves evaluating cybersecurity assessments, identifying vulnerabilities, and delivering actionable remediation recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, CS, or related technical discipline required.
• Security+ or CISSP certification preferred.
• 5+ years of practical cybersecurity experience.
• Experience interpreting penetration-testing results and vulnerability assessments.
• Ability to communicate findings to Government decision-makers.
• Experience with small unmanned systems or embedded technologies is desirable.
• Must meet applicable DoD Cyber Workforce Framework qualifications (DCWF 511/612).

Responsibilities

• Support cybersecurity evaluation of Blue List product submissions.
• Provide advisory guidance on cybersecurity requirements and assessment methodologies.
• Apply cybersecurity principles to embedded systems, software, firmware, wireless networking, and supply-chain security.
• Interpret assessment data and review penetration tests and vulnerability reports.
• Identify vulnerabilities, threats, and residual risks; propose mitigations.
• Develop technical recommendations for remediation and acceptance.
• Review vendor remediation plans for adequacy and effectiveness.
• Stay informed on DoD policies, cybersecurity frameworks, and Blue List processes.
• Collaborate with Government personnel and stakeholders to improve the Blue List Program.
