Dentist Job Description

Immediate associate dentist needed who is competent in all aspects of general dentistry and can perform endodontics.

Practice Details

Practice with 5 operatories, equipped with digital x-ray and TV in all operatories.

Patient Demographics: Mostly Adults

Compensation

Excellent starting pay to help establish the new dentist.

Responsibilities of the Dentist

• Provide diagnosis of patient's dental status utilizing accepted clinical and radiological techniques.
• Assess patient's dental status and coordinate appropriate treatment plans.
• Deliver comprehensive dental care addressing the oral health needs of patients.
• Perform routine exams, simple extractions, restorations, prosthetic services, prophylaxis, and fluoride treatments.
• Refer patients to specialists when necessary.
• Manage administrative functions of the dental practice.
• Supervise dental hygienists and assistants.

Requirements

• DMD or DDS degree from an accredited dental school.
• Valid Oregon license and DEA registration.
• Willingness to live and engage with the Portland community.
• Proficiency in all facets of general dentistry.
