About the position

As a Vehicle Cosmetic Inspector at BluCar, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of vehicle descriptions presented to customers. This role involves meticulously inspecting vehicles for cosmetic damages, documenting findings, and contributing to the efficiency of the auction process.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough visual inspections of vehicles to identify and document cosmetic damages, including scratches, dents, and paint imperfections.
• Accurately record inspection findings using Copart's proprietary software systems.
• Capture high-quality photographs of vehicles to provide comprehensive visual representations to buyers.
• Maintain strict adherence to Copart's standards and guidelines for cosmetic inspections.
• Work closely with team members to facilitate seamless communication and support efficient auction operations.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries related to vehicle condition and cosmetic discrepancies.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance knowledge and proficiency in vehicle inspection techniques.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification in automotive technology preferred.
• Previous experience in automotive detailing, bodywork, or cosmetic inspection strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in using digital photography equipment and basic computer skills required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately assess and document cosmetic damages.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-focused mindset.
