Job summary

Wipro is seeking a Board Level Technician to support engineers working on client’s embedded and automotive system products in a fast-paced lab and manufacturing environment. This role focuses on board-level build, debug, and repair, along with test setup, execution, and results analysis to help ensure product quality and timely issue resolution.

The position involves handling shipping/receiving, building and repairing boards, setting up test programs, and managing hardware/firmware upgrades

Qualifications

• AS degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of proven experience in PCBA and system product setup and validation.
• Experience with embedded or automotive motherboard/board platforms and Linux commands.
• Experience managing hardware and firmware upgrades.
• Detail-oriented with strong English communication skills and the ability to work independently.

• Support engineers working on client's embedded and automotive system products across lab build and validation activities.
• Handle shipping and receiving, including unpacking and packing of systems.
• Build, help debug, and repair boards and embedded/automotive platform products in the lab.
• Set up test programs, run test suites, and collect and analyze results.
• Manage hardware and firmware upgrades across embedded and automotive hardware platforms.
• Work independently with a strong sense of urgency, asking questions for clarification as needed to ensure accurate and timely completion.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• AS degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of proven experience in PCBA and system product setup and validation.

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $45,000 to $100,000 .

Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience.
