GoHealth Urgent Care is seeking a Medical Assistant to support the Medical Providers, Radiologic Technologist, and patients across a busy urgent care setting. You will handle patient care management, organization, and communications with a focus on accuracy and timely service.

Responsibilities include registering patients, processing payments, coordinating referrals, and performing vital signs and point-of-care testing.

Formación

• Graduate of a Medical Assistant Program preferred.
• Control the Dose training strongly preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsabilidades

• Register patients and verify insurance and eligibility.
• Process co-pays and schedule appointments.
• Coordinate referrals to specialists.
• Answer patient questions and inform them of status.
• Prepare patients for examination and collect medical history.
• Perform vital signs and identify critical cases.
• Conduct point-of-care testing (flu, strep, urinalysis, ECG, hCG).
• Maintain exam rooms, front desk, and supply inventory.
• Maintain medical records and scan charts.
• Open/close duties and cash handling.
• Operate equipment QA/QC logs and report repairs.
• All other duties as assigned.
