Job summary

Valgroup in Findlay, OH is seeking an experienced blown film extrusion leader to drive operational excellence on the production floor.

This hands-on role leads from the floor, trains operators, and optimizes multi-layer or barrier film performance to deliver quality products.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on experience in blown film extrusion (multilayer preferred).
• Strong technical ability for process troubleshooting.
• Eagerness for continuous learning.
• Hands-on leadership and developing others.
• Computer literacy including Microsoft Applications; SAP a plus.
• Self-leadership and time management.
• Safety as a priority.

Responsibilities

• Lead from the production floor to drive operational excellence.
• Train and mentor operators to improve skills and performance.
• Troubleshoot extrusion processes to minimize downtime and waste.
• Collaborate with maintenance and quality teams to ensure product quality and safety.

Are you a skilled blown film extrusion professional who enjoys solving complex processing challenges and leading from the production floor? We are looking for an experienced technical leader to help drive operational excellence, train operators, and optimize performance. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a manufacturing environment, enjoys continuous learning, and takes pride in producing quality products.

Skills needed to succeed

• 3 year's hands-on experience in blown film extrusion (multilayer preferred)
• Strong technical ability for process troubleshooting
• Eagerness for continuous learning
• Comfortable with hands-on leadership and developing others
• Computer literacy including Microsoft Applications - knowledge of SAP a plus
• Self-leadership and time management
