Job summary

G&J Pepsi-Cola Bottlers, Inc. is seeking a Blowmold Leadperson for the 3rd shift (6:30 pm–7:00 am, 12-hour shift). You will build and load pallets, operate forklift equipment, and ensure accurate inventory movement to our Enhanced customers during nightly operations.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of warehouse experience, a forklift license, and the ability to read load sheets, count accurately, and work independently while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Build pallets accurately and safely based on build sheets
  • Operate forklift to load pallets into truck bays
  • Assist in loading and staging shipments for delivery
  • Train and assign tasks to other Forklift Operators
  • Coordinate with inventory team to resolve variances and document discrepancies
  • Complete safety checklists and required paperwork
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse
  • Receive inbound deliveries and verify paperwork per procedures

Blowmold Leadperson

Schedule: 3rd Shift - 6:30 pm - 7:00 am (12 Hour Shift), 2-2-3 Schedule.

Position Summary

To serve our internal and external customers by quickly, safely and accurately building and loading pallets of product onto trucks to be delivered to our Enhanced customers.

Essential Functions
  • Build pallets of product accurately and safely by identifying proper location, package and quantity of product requested on build sheets.
  • Adhere to all company policies, standards and procedures (e.g., OSHA and safety requirements, AIB and Pepsi standards, Federal/State/Local laws); wear all required personal equipment.
  • Utilize forklift to load pallets into truck bay; ensure each pallet is loaded safely into the correct truck bay as requested on build sheets.
  • Move and park trucks to maintain efficient and timely loading process.
  • Communicate with co-workers, supervisor and management team verbally regarding the status of work activities and other information; inform supervisor regarding questions or issues with daily assignment.
  • Train employees to perform Forklift Operator job duties in accordance with established standards.
  • Assign work to other Forklift Operators under the direction of the Warehouse Management Team.
  • Work with Forklift Operators, Load Auditors and Warehouse Management Team to resolve problems, errors and mis-picks.
  • Complete equipment safety checklists, build sheet forms, and other required paperwork according to established standards.
  • Work assigned schedule, exhibit regular and predictable attendance and work overtime as needed to meet workload demands. Perform other related duties as required.
  • Notify re-stocker of stock outages so that product can be replenished in picking locations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and assist in organization of the warehouse (e.g., cuts away shrink wrap from pallets, gathers damaged materials, cleans up spills, stocks and fills storage racks).
  • Handle, stock, and organize alcoholic products.
  • Work with inventory team to resolve any physical variance within VIP System; help count inventory when necessary; verify Production ranker report accuracy compared to VIP inventory report; validate load verifications and make correction requests when necessary.
  • Receive all inbound deliveries per G&J established procedures; knowledge of and trouble shooting skills of EasyOps receiving program; ensure proper paperwork is completed including trailer verification sheets, dates on products and any additional information used for traceability.
  • Help manage technology/equipment used by loaders/pickers during loading/stocking operations.
Education

High School or GED required.

Experience

1–3 years of material handling experience in a warehouse environment required; previous food/beverage warehouse experience strongly preferred.

Other Requirements

Knowledge of warehouse/food distribution environment and beverage industry; skill in internal customer service; ability to work quickly, efficiently, independently, multi-task, count accurately, read load sheets, communicate effectively, adapt to change, read and write, perform basic math functions, obtain a forklift license and operate a forklift, and other mechanical equipment. Operate powered industrial trucks (PIT), including forklifts, in compliance with safety standards and company procedure.
