Job summary

Pretium Packaging in Salt Lake City is seeking a Blow Molding Production Technician to run and optimize lines, ensuring targets and quality specs are met. You’ll start up, set up, and troubleshoot equipment to maximize uptime and maintain safe, efficient operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of experience in manufacturing, machine operation, or production.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills and ability to follow written instructions/specs.

Responsibilities

• Run the line: Operate, monitor, and fine-tune blow molding and related equipment to meet production targets and quality specs.
• Change over with confidence: Start-ups, set-ups, and basic troubleshooting to maximize uptime.
• Stay aligned: Review machine performance with the previous shift and keep lines running efficiently.
• Maintain reliability: Perform routine adjustments and preventive maintenance; report issues promptly.
• Quality & Compliance: Inspect products, document changes, and ensure GMP and safety standards.
