Job summary

Altium Packaging in Memphis, TN is seeking a qualified manufacturing professional to support extrusion blow molding operations on continuous shuttle and reciprocating machines. The role covers machine setup, process optimization, wall distribution control, and mold changes while upholding safety and quality standards.

Candidates should bring blow mold manufacturing experience, GMP knowledge, and strong problem-solving skills. Some overtime may be required to meet production needs.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot quality defects and perform root-cause analysis.
• Overtime may be required due to business needs.

Essential Function - Roles/Responsibilities

• Understand and improve extrusion blow molding process on continuous extrusion shuttle machines and reciprocating screw blow molding machines.
• Machine setup and optimization.
• Wall distribution and parison control.
• Repair/Adjustment and understand hydraulics and pneumatics of our blow molding machines.
• Mold setup and changeovers of blow molding machines.
• Troubleshooting quality defects.
• Root-cause problem solving and continuous improvement.
• Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.
