The Blow Mold Process Technician is responsible for equipment startups and shutdowns. Responsibility also includes responding to problems that operators announce, and other duties.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

• Start and stop equipment operations smoothly, ensuring transitions around scheduled downtime are efficient.
• Carefully check the first piece for quality, considering any concerns from operators.
• Verify that the setup and materials match the Bill of Materials (BOM) and ensure proper use of regrind materials.
• Address issues raised by operators and respond quickly to messages via Plantstar.
• Communicate clearly with the incoming shift about ongoing issues, and walk the plant floor to find and address potential problems, including job status and equipment downtime.
• Support the engineering team during sample runs on the floor.
• Review operational reports and advise Job Setters on tool changes and job sign-offs.
• Manage purging, mold cleaning, and accurately tag and save the last shot.
• Have a strong background in plastics and injection molding, and understand Quality Systems as outlined in the Quality System Manual.
• Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001 standards.
