Job summary

Altium Packaging in Franklin, MA is seeking a Machine Operator to run blow-mold/PET/injection molding equipment, grinders, and conveyors. The role requires troubleshooting process issues, performing minor maintenance, and adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices in a fast-paced production environment.

You will work on a 3rd shift (8hr) and contribute to continuous improvement while ensuring product quality and safe, efficient operations. Training will be provided within 90 days of hire date.

Qualifications

• Applicants should be able to perform basic math and operate standard computer systems.
• Experience with blow molding processes is preferred.
• Completion of Altium Production/Machine Operator training within 90 days of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Operate blow-mold/PET/injection molding machines, grinders, trimmer machines and conveyors.
• Troubleshoot process problems and perform minor maintenance to keep production lines running.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices and safety policies by wearing PPE and maintaining cleanliness.
• Adhere to plant safety standards and regulatory requirements; maintain accurate daily production reports.
• Inspect bottles for quality, perform audits and ensure correct labeling and packaging per customer specs.
• Escalate bottle abnormalities or quality issues immediately and perform minor repairs as needed.
• Support preventive maintenance and minor equipment adjustments as directed.
