Job summary

Silgan Containers in Ohio is seeking a Production Operator to support the blow molding line. You will take readings, operate the blow molder, and ensure all paperwork related to product safety and quality is completed accurately.

You will clean molds, assist with changeovers, inspect work areas for safety, and maintain a clean, safe working environment. The role requires physical effort including lifting up to 40 pounds and periodic bending and twisting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds continuously.
• Ability to bend, reach, and twist during shifts.
• Willingness to be trained on Blow mold basics and Operator Training Course.

Responsibilities

• Ensure product safety and quality with all duties and related paperwork.
• Take readings and operate the blow molder and downstream components.
• Clean molds and assist with changeovers.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and follow safety guidelines.
• Perform sweeping, sorting, and other duties as needed.
