Job summary

Schutz Container Systems Group in Kenosha, Wisconsin is seeking a manufacturing associate to assemble products, monitor the production process, and ensure quality standards are met. You will document observations on the plant floor and test and measure products.

Responsibilities include operating a blow molding machine, controlling temperature and timing, ensuring safe operation, trimming excess material, maintaining a clean work area, and stocking materials.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years of related experience.
• Must have high initiative and be self-motivated.
• Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills.
• Ability to comprehend and apply direction from written and verbal instructions, policies, guidelines and other instructional material related to job tasks and assignments.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate blow molding machine to mold plastic products according to specifications.
• Close chamber to mold product under heat and pressure.
• Move machine controls to set timing unit and temperature of heating unit and start automatic material circuit.
• Turn valves to start flow of water and release air pressure to machine.
• Remove product from mold after timing device opens mold inspecting the quality of the product.
• Trim excess material from product using knife.
• Scrap/regrinds excess material.
• Maintain a clean machine and surrounding areas.
• Keep stock of materials/products for machine/equipment and replenishes when needed.
• Other duties, as assigned.
