Job summary

Garelick Farms, part of Dairy Farmers of America, is seeking a Blow Mold Operator for the 3rd shift (11:00 PM–7:30 AM). You will operate blow molding machines, monitor lines, and maintain quality and safety per SOPs. A $1,500 sign-on bonus is offered for external candidates.

Rate is $21.00/hr with a $1.50/hr shift differential for 2nd/3rd shift; manufacturing GMPs and teamwork are essential. High school diploma preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Warehouse/production or general work experience preferred.
• Certification and/or license may be required during course of employment.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Monitor conveyor lines for damaged bottles.
• Operate bagger and debagger stations.
• Troubleshoot and implement minor repairs of blow mold equipment.
• Train others on blow mold operations.
• Maintain open communication with other departments, management, and employees to notify of any problems and/or concerns that may restrict efficiency.
• Ensure all required information is documented in accordance with SOPs.
• Analyze process data and equipment performance data to improve quality, throughput, and troubleshoot.
• Utilize continuous improvement mindset to identify opportunities to improve processes.
• Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately.
• Maintain safe working conditions and comply with all health and safety regulations.
• Follow DFA GMPs and company regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements.

GENERAL PURPOSE

Operate plastic blow molding machines to ensure production of containers is made in a safe, efficient, and high-quality manner according to established company policies and procedures.

Job Duties And Responsibilities

Education And Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Warehouse, production, or general work experience preferred.
