• Assist in preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment.
• Participate in HACCP and quality control documentation and procedures.
• Maintain commitment to food safety and quality in compliance with applicable regulations.

Job Description:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate and trouble shoot blow molding equipment to produce various sizes of bottles used in the product of dairy and drink products for sale at Weis Markets retail locations.
• Receive, unload, and perform quality assurance testing for the plastic resin used in the production of various size bottles for use either by Weis Markets or sale to third party customers.
• Develop working knowledge of the debagging operation to ensure proper production procedures.
• Assist in the completion in preventative maintenance performed and repairs on all equipment.
• Participate and maintain compliance with HACCP plan, associated quality control programs and documentation.
• Responsible for maintaining the commitment to food safety and food quality in compliance with Weis Markets,DEP (Department of Environmental Protection), PDA, FDA and SQFetc.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position has no direct supervisor responsibilities.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or general education (GED) and one (1) year experience in a supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
