Job summary

Altium Packaging in Lebanon, Indiana is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift to perform repairs, preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery, plant blow mold equipment, and related facilities. You will follow Good Manufacturing Practices and ensure safety compliance across all duties.

The role requires installation and repair of blow mold equipment, pneumatics/hydraulics, tool changes, and preventive maintenance.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include basic math skills, basic computer skills, and knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Attention to detail is essential and beneficial in this role.
• Preferred: 2+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing; high school diploma or GED; OSHA forklift certification.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Install, adjust and repair blow mold, trimmers, palletizer and related equipment.
• Perform mold, neck tooling changes, pin and other equipment changes.
• Inspect and replace pneumatic and hydraulic hoses; inspect, rebuild and replace valves and pumps.
• Perform preventive maintenance on all related equipment and keep machines in optimal condition.
• Weld, fabricate, and repair various machines; troubleshoot and repair blow mold and related equipment.
• Operate blow mold or injection machines when required; communicate with other departments.
• Duties may vary by plant based on equipment and design; receive instructions from Lead Technician or Supervisor.
• Other duties as assigned by management; seek professional judgment in unusual problems; overtime may be required.
