Job description

Assist in developing sales, maintaining productivity levels, and providing superior customer service, while ensuring the safety and cleanliness of the store. Work as part of a team, following the directions of managers and supervisors, and adhering to the policies and procedures outlined in the Employee Handbook.

Responsibilities:

1. Follow proper age verification policies.
2. Provide friendly assistance to customers and observe customer service policies.
3. Perform cash register operations and maintain the check-out, shopping cart, and box storage areas.
4. Perform stocking, display-building, and porter duties.
5. Follow injury prevention, safety training, and security procedures.
6. Follow shipping and receiving procedures.
7. Develop knowledge of store products to better serve customers.
8. Perform all duties as assigned by Store Management.

Qualifications (Essential Job Functions):

1. Must be 21 years of age.
2. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
3. Ability to count cash and make change accurately.
4. Ability to operate business machines (scanners, computer keyboards, etc.).
5. Ability to pass any applicable alcohol training class and maintain a current certification card.
6. Ability to repeatedly lift 40-50 pounds.
7. Ability to effectively communicate with customers and managers.
8. Ability to follow directions and complete assignments.
9. Ability to write legibly.
10. Ability to read small type.
11. Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods.
12. Ability to repeatedly walk up and down stairs.
13. Ability to work in cold areas.
14. Ability to work hours as scheduled.
15. Consistent and regular attendance.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Part-Time Store Associates $16.25-$17.50 based on experience and availability.
