What You Need to Know:

You will be responsible for receiving, processing, packing, and shipping blood products and samples for hospital orders. Your duties include triaging orders based on urgency, carefully packing blood products with temperature regulation, communicating with hospital clients, volunteers, and vendors, and maintaining accurate records to ensure traceability.

As a team member, you are expected to show up for every shift, give your best, and interact positively with internal and external customers, demonstrating care and compassion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure products are suitable for release and meet production goals.
  • Maintain inventory management practices throughout manufacturing and shipping.
  • Prioritize workload to meet deadlines and customer requirements.
  • Perform data entry related to manufacturing, labeling, storage, and shipping; keep accurate records.
  • Analyze and decide based on visual inspection and information from other departments.
  • Identify and quarantine products that do not meet quality standards and handle their disposition.
  • Make hospital deliveries as assigned.

The responsibilities listed are not exhaustive.

Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday, 7:00 pm - 3:30 am. Rotating holidays required.

Pay: $17.50/hour plus applicable shift differentials for nights and weekends.

Note: Salaries are aligned with geographic location and may vary based on experience and skills.

What You Need to Succeed:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Two years’ experience in a regulatory, distribution, or manufacturing environment preferred, or equivalent education/experience
  • Good computer skills, attention to detail, accurate documentation, and decision-making skills
  • Valid driver’s license may be required

Physical Requirements:

Standing, stretching, stooping, bending, lifting, pulling, and pushing objects up to 50 pounds. May work in walk-in refrigerators/freezers and wear protective clothing.
