Job summary

The American Red Cross is seeking a team member to manufacture blood products and samples on site in a role that demands accuracy and strong teamwork. You will process units from donors, scan and convert them into transfusable components, and ensure proper labeling and storage while maintaining compliance with quality standards.

Responsibilities include data entry, inventory management, and collaboration across departments to meet production targets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years of related experience in regulatory, laboratory, or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Good computer skills and ability to use various programs and lab equipment.
• Attention to detail, accurate documentation, and good decision making.
• Strong communication skills; able to work in a team or independently.

Responsibilities

• Meet quality and production goals while prioritizing workload and maintaining documentation.
• Perform inventory management throughout manufacturing and distribution.
• Data entry and operation of programs for component production, labeling, storage, and sample tube management.
• Analyze information from other departments to meet time objectives.
• Perform complex tasks such as pooled product manufacturing, freezing, washing, or deglycerolizing of blood products, and pathogen reduction.
• Communicate effectively with internal customers, vendors, and volunteers.
