Job summary

Carter BloodCare is hiring a Production Technician to separate whole blood into components and label products for storage or shipment. You will operate required equipment, ensuring compliance with FDA/AABB/EU/OSHA standards and maintain precise records.

The role requires ability to work under time constraints, either independently or in a team, with attention to detail and strong English communication skills. PPE will be used where required to ensure safety and product integrity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Production or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Must complete training for essential functions within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Perform separation of whole blood into components with proper labeling for storage or shipment.
• Operate equipment per FDA, AABB, EU, OSHA standards and procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation electronically and on paper.
• Meet strict timelines; work independently or as part of a team.
• Maintain temperature control of blood products per procedures and regulations.
• Adhere to PPE protocols and safety guidelines to minimize risks.
