Blood Component Manufacturing Technician (1st Shift) - W Henrietta, NY

Job Responsibilities:

• Meet production goals and maintain accurate documentation.
• Manage inventory throughout manufacturing and distribution.
• Perform data entry and operate related computer programs.
• Conduct complex manufacturing tasks such as pooled product manufacturing, freezing, washing, or deglycerolizing blood products, and pathogen reduction.
• Communicate effectively with team members, vendors, and internal departments.
• Work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, to meet hospital needs.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a regulatory, laboratory, or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Good computer skills, attention to detail, and accurate documentation.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.

Physical Requirements:

• Standing, stretching, stooping, and bending for extended periods.
• Lifting objects up to 50 pounds.
• May work in walk-in refrigerators/freezers and wear protective clothing.

Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday, 8:00am-4:30pm

Pay: $17-$19.79/hour plus shift differentials
