In 1954, the Blood Bank of Delmarva was established as a private, not-for-profit agency to collect, test, and distribute blood products. Today, it is a division of the New York Blood Center and a key part of the community's healthcare system, employing approximately 175 staff members as of October 2019. Our mission is to provide safe and sufficient blood for patients in our community.

Position: Blood Collection Technician (Full-Time)

Location: New Castle County Mobile Team

No medical experience needed! We train individuals who are welcoming and committed to excellent customer service for our donors.

The Mobile Blood Drive Team at BBD in Newark, DE, offers training for experienced phlebotomists and newcomers to healthcare. The team works varied schedules at different locations, with schedules provided 2 weeks in advance. We value work-life balance and seek individuals eager to be part of a healthcare team.

Responsibilities include:

Minimum qualifications:

• At least 1 year managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
