Job Overview:

Utilize your healthcare and/or customer service skills to assist with blood collection. Responsibilities include transporting and setting up equipment, creating a welcoming environment for donors, and following safety procedures to collect and deliver lifesaving blood to hospitals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Connect personally with donors to share the impact of their donations.
• Work with your team to ensure a friendly, welcoming environment.
• Be detail-oriented to meet goals and safety standards.
• May operate Red Cross vehicles and assist in setting up and tearing down equipment. A minimum height of 60 inches may be required for vehicle operation.

Standard Schedule:

• Variable shifts including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays. Overnight travel may be needed.
• Schedules are provided 2-3 weeks in advance.

Pay Information:

• Starting rate: $20.72/hr (Entry-Level), $25.06/hr (LPN License), $30.09/hr (RN License)

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Customer service experience and effective communication skills.
• Valid driver's license with a good record.
• Physical ability to lift, push, or pull heavy weights, and perform other physical tasks. Minimum height of 60 inches may be required for vehicle operation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior healthcare or phlebotomy experience (e.g., CNA, MA, EMT).
• Leadership experience.
