Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree or equivalent in Medical Technology, Chemical or Biological Science.
• New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist License.
• Proven ability to communicate technical concepts across a wide range of stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Performs all aspects of blood bank testing, including ABO/Rh Typing, Cross Matching, Antibody Detection, and identification with follow-ups.
• Maintains quality control of equipment and reagents.
• Manages meticulous record-keeping with great attention to detail.
• Ability to possess and utilize great follow-up skills.
