Job summary

Emory Healthcare in Georgia seeks an experienced Medical Lab Scientist II / Medical Technologist II with a Blood Bank background to join our onsite lab team. You will operate complex instruments, perform assays, and ensure quality control for accurate patient results.

This role requires a MLS/MT degree, ASCP certification, and 18 months of experience. Night shift 8pm–6:30am with rotating weekends; comprehensive benefits start day one and opportunities for mentorship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in MLS/Medical Technology with required coursework.
• 18 months of laboratory experience required.
• ASCP or equivalent certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze blood, urine, spinal fluid, and tissue for markers and pathogens.
• Operate automated analyzers and microscopes.
• Calibrate equipment and validate results to ensure accuracy.
• Interpret data and relay findings to physicians.
