KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED

1. Must submit to a color-acuity screening test.
2. One (1) year experience in a clinical laboratory.
3. Bachelor’s degree in a chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science or medical technology from an accredited institution.
4. Applicants must have completed (or be eligible for) an appropriate certification examination.
5. Acceptable certifying agencies include: ASCP, NCA, AMT, AAB, HHS (HEW).
6. Ability to implement and perform clinical laboratory procedures according to proper standards and regulations.
