• Licensed by New York State Education Department as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist (or as appropriate to area of assignment) is required.
• Minimum of one year of work experience and/or training in the area noted above is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of diversified and complex laboratory tests and processes blood samples.
• Prioritizes and processes blood samples and performs Blood Bank functions according to policy; issues blood components.
• Under supervision, may teach and train students and new employees; participates in ongoing education.
