Job summary

Your Talent Team is recruiting an Associate Attorney to join a leading AmLaw 25 firm’s Technology Transactions & Digital Assets Practice Group. The role focuses on sophisticated crypto transactions, licensing, platform agreements, and risk management for technology and digital asset clients.

Ideal candidates hold a JD from a top-tier law school, active bar admission, 2–5 years in tech transactions, and strong drafting/negotiation skills.

Qualifications

JD from a top-tier law school with excellent academic record.
Active Bar Admission in applicable jurisdiction, in good standing.
2–5 years of experience in technology transactions and commercial contracting, preferably at a law firm.
Strong background advising technology, fintech, blockchain, or digital asset companies.
Experience with cryptocurrency, blockchain tech, and evolving industry trends.
Familiarity with commercial, intellectual property, data rights, and risk allocation in tech transactions.
Exposure to cryptocurrency regulatory frameworks and compliance considerations is beneficial.
Excellent contract drafting and negotiation capabilities.
Ability to provide practical, business-focused legal advice.
Strong organizational skills and multitasking ability.
Comfortable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial client environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with emerging legal tech and AI-enabled tools is a plus.
Collaborative team player with sound judgment and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Structure, negotiate, and document complex technology and commercial transactions involving blockchain and cryptocurrency businesses.
Advise on technology licensing, platform agreements, SaaS arrangements, contracts, and partnerships.
Counsel digital asset and blockchain companies on legal, regulatory, IP, and risk management considerations.
Support development and launch of innovative products and technology platforms.
Analyze transaction structures and provide practical solutions to complex business and legal challenges.
Collaborate with corporate, regulatory, IP, tax, finance, and litigation teams.
Work directly with founders, executives, investors, and in-house teams on strategic initiatives.
Monitor developments in cryptocurrency, blockchain, fintech, and tech regulation to provide proactive guidance.
