Job summary

CertiK leads blockchain security by delivering security consulting, reviews, auditing, verification of smart contracts, and related services. As a Security Engineer, you will join the security team to provide best-in-class offerings, engage with clients, and help expand security products in a fast-evolving blockchain space.

You will work with experienced researchers and engineers to assess, test, and improve security across DApps, protocols, and infrastructural layers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Security, CS, Math, Physics or Engineering.
• Ability to triage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Specialist knowledge of cybersecurity and security auditing; can write and deploy smart contracts and tests.
• Familiar with attack vectors such as reentrancy, sandwich attacks, overflow/underflow.
• Strong communication with clients and internal teams in English.
• Bonus: hands-on security auditing experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end security services for blockchain systems, including consulting, reviewing, auditing, verifying, testing and delivering detailed assessments.
• Conduct manual code reviews to identify vulnerabilities, logical flaws, economic attacks, and edge cases across Solidity, Golang, Rust or other blockchain languages.
• Develop and refine threat models and attack surfaces for blockchain protocols.
• Design and execute security tests, including property-based testing and gas-related analysis.
