Job summary

eClerx is seeking a motivated Software Engineer to join our Application Development team, delivering features end to end for enterprise software with blockchain and digital-asset infrastructure. You will own implementation from design through deployment, focusing on scalable and secure full-stack solutions.

Qualifications

• BS or BA in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of full-stack development experience with strong backend in Java/Spring Boot, Node.js, Python, or Go.
• Hands-on blockchain/DLT experience (Ethereum, Solana, Hyperledger Besu, or Canton/Daml) including transaction lifecycle and event processing.
• Strong understanding of application architecture, design patterns, and performance optimization.
• Proficiency with REST APIs and SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Hands-on experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Curiosity and willingness to learn in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical delivery of features and projects from design through deployment, ensuring quality, performance, and scalability.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and code reviews.
• Adhere to coding standards, architectural principles, and security best practices.
• Collaborate with Product and UX teams to translate client needs into high-impact solutions.
• Build test automation across the full stack of our software and follow engineering best practices.
• Optimize application performance and reliability in a cloud environment.
• Implement blockchain integrations, node connectivity, transaction submission, event monitoring, wallet/custody interactions, and signing/approval workflows, using enterprise-grade backend and Web3 libraries.
• Write, test, and deploy smart contracts (Solidity or equivalent) following established security practices, handle full transaction lifecycle, submission, confirmation, idempotency, and failure/reversal handling, with audit-friendly logging.
• Partner with Product Managers and Technical Project Managers to understand scope, timelines, and priorities.
• Communicate project status, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders

Eligibility Requirements:

• Strong understanding of application architecture, design patterns, and performance optimization


• Proficiency with REST APIs, and database technologies (SQL and NoSQL)


• Hands-on experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD pipelines


• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills


• Curiosity and willingness to learn and grow within a collaborative team environment
