Job summary

eClerx is seeking a motivated Software Engineer to join the Application Development team in Raleigh, NC. You’ll own features end to end, delivering scalable, secure software and integrating blockchain/Web3 technologies into enterprise systems.

The role requires a strong foundation in full-stack engineering, with hands-on experience across backend languages and cloud deployments. You will collaborate with Product, UX, and QA to ship high-impact solutions.

Qualifications

• BS or BA in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of full-stack development experience with backend expertise in one or more languages (e.g., Java/Spring Boot, Node.js, Python, Go).
• Hands-on blockchain/DLT experience including transaction lifecycle and event processing.
• Strong understanding of architecture, design patterns, and performance optimization.
• Proficiency with REST APIs and SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Hands-on experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical delivery of features and projects from design through deployment, ensuring quality, performance, and scalability.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and code reviews.
• Adhere to coding standards, architectural principles, and security best practices.
• Collaborate with Product and UX teams to translate client needs into high-impact solutions.
• Build test automation across the full stack and follow engineering best practices.
• Optimize application performance and reliability in a cloud environment.
• Implement blockchain integrations, node connectivity, transaction submission, event monitoring, wallet/custody interactions, and signing/approval workflows using enterprise-grade backend and Web3 libraries.
• Write, test, and deploy smart contracts (Solidity or equivalent) with audit-friendly logging and proper lifecycle handling.
• Partner with Product Managers and Technical Project Managers to understand scope, timelines, and priorities.
• Communicate project status, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders.

As a Software Engineer, you'll own and deliver features end to end. Eligibility Requirements:

• BS or BA in Computer Science or related field


• 5+ years of full-stack development experience, with strong backend expertise in one or more languages (e.g., Java/Spring Boot, Node.js, Python, Go)


• Hands-on experience building on blockchain/DLT platforms (e.g., Ethereum, Solana, Hyperledger Besu, or Canton/Daml), including transaction lifecycle (gas, nonce, confirmations, finality) and event processing


• Strong understanding of application architecture, design patterns, and performance optimization


• Proficiency with REST APIs, and database technologies (SQL and NoSQL)


• Hands-on experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD pipelines


• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills


• Curiosity and willingness to learn and grow within a collaborative team environment
