Team Industrial Services is seeking a skilled valve technician based in Sulphur, Louisiana. You will perform repairs and diagnostics on various control valves and work autonomously to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of experience, a background in control valve training, and the ability to lift 75 pounds. This position requires indoor and outdoor work, interaction with crew and clients, and may require periodic travel.
Perform complete over-haul and testing of all manufacturers control valves, actuators and positioners to include: Fisher, Masoneilan, Rotork, Automax, and others. Execute diagnostics and trouble‑shooting in shop and field environments. Directly reports to the Operations Manager.
Position is based out of a branch or site location. Field duties require indoor and outdoor work in a plant atmosphere. Interaction with other crew employees, as well as supervisors and client personnel. Working in plant and/or shop areas around production machinery with extreme noise levels. Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection. May be at more than one job site in a day and must be able to tolerate climate changes. May be required to travel out of town on a periodic basis.
