We are seeking a Block Plant Manager. The Block Plant Manager oversees all aspects of producing concrete Masonry Units (CMU), Pavers, and Segmented Retaining Wall (SRW).
Requirements
- Experience with block plant machinery such as Columbia, Tiger, Besser, Hess, or similar.

Essential Functions
- Coordinate production schedules with department managers and leadership.
- Maintain production levels to meet sales forecasts.
- Oversee daily plant operations, ensuring policies and procedures are followed.
- Evaluate and adjust production schedules, manage resources.
- Ensure quality assurance through testing and inspections.
- Manage inventory and maintenance of equipment.
- Schedule and oversee plant maintenance.
- Track and report production data.
- Lead research and development projects.
- Participate in safety meetings and enforce safety protocols.
- Maintain a hands-on presence in production areas.
- Participate in hiring and personnel management.
- Drive process improvements.
- Build team skills and decision-making capabilities.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and policies.
- Develop and implement training programs for staff.
- Support sales efforts and customer inquiries.
- Oversee mold and equipment maintenance.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Skills
- Experience in manufacturing block and pavers.
Preferred Skills
- Basic electronics and programmable controllers knowledge.
- Knowledge of ASTM standards for concrete products.
- Associate’s degree and/or 3+ years leadership in similar industry or equivalent experience.
- Strong OSHA and safety procedures knowledge.
- Ability to train and instruct staff.
