Job summary

Suncore in Utah is seeking a skilled Block Machine Operator to run and maintain production equipment, ensuring masonry and hardscape products meet quality standards while mentoring operator trainees. You will lead a safety‑driven team, perform preventative maintenance, keep daily production and maintenance logs, and collaborate with supervisors to continuously improve processes.

• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to operate and adjust equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and adjust block machines and related equipment.
• Maintain quality of masonry and hardscape products.
• Maintain daily production reports and maintenance logs.
• Lead, train and mentor operator trainees.
• Enforce safety standards and keep workspace clean.
• Perform preventative maintenance and basic repairs.
• Collaborate with operators and supervisors to improve processes.
• Participate in team discussions to improve efficiency.
• Support Plant Manager and supervisor as needed.
