Qualifications

• On-the-job training required to perform duties.
• Manufacturing production machinery experience, including block machine, cuber, loader, unloader, kiln systems.
• Mechanically inclined with knowledge of basic hand tools.
• Clear verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrates ability to coach, train and lead others.
• Requires basic reading, writing and mathematical skills.
• Predictable and regular attendance is required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate advanced knowledge of block machine mechanics and performance indicators.
• Lead colleagues on mold changes, height changes, and color changes.
• Identify aggregates and raw materials by visual indicators.
• Know batching system, batch reporting, moisture adjustments and product mix designs.
• Perform visual and physical product quality inspections.
• Ensure all production machines run safely and properly.
• Monitor production for optimum yield and uptime.
• Oversee loader/unloader or kiln feed to optimize flow and uptime.
• Train plant personnel on equipment operation and safety.
