Position

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Block Assembler - 1st Shift at our Greenwood, SC facility. This role is based at the Emerald Road plant.

Compensation

The hourly rate for this position is $18.00 per hour. Salary information is a general guideline; final compensation is based on skills, experience, and qualifications.

What You’ll Do

The Assembly Technician II – Final Assembly must remain proficient in all jobs on the product line, including assembly, packaging, reading drawings and instructions, using computer, and 5S+ activities. You will work closely with the team members, Job Setter, Group Leader, and Supervisor to maintain work efficiency and be flexible in performing various job functions.

Responsibilities

• Understand, read, and follow production drawings as well as shop work orders, including bills of material and shipping instructions.
• Follow all department quality and safety procedures.
• Prep and package capacitors for shipment using a variety of tools such as air tools, nail guns, pneumatic staplers, torque wrenches, tape measures, wire cutters, lifting devices, saws, computer, and drill/driver tools.
• Operate all equipment safely and perform daily inspections.

Qualifications

Required

• Legally authorized to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship.

Preferred

• One year of manufacturing experience.
