Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. in Tucson, AZ, is seeking a Blind Bolt Pin Heading Operator for 3rd shift. The role is full-time and on-site, with hours Sunday-Thursday from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

Responsibilities include setting up Nakashimada and SACMA machines, loading wire coils, reading blueprints, and ensuring quality through inspection and maintenance of equipment. The candidate should have a High School diploma or GED, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work in the United States (ITAR

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of tooling setups.
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate progressive cold heading machines based on part specifications.
• Load raw material (wire coils) and monitor machines during the production process.
• Study sample parts, blueprints, drawings & engineering information to determine methods and sequence of operations.
• Measure, examine and test completed units to detect defects.
• Fabricate replacement and new parts for facility machinery.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on facility machinery.
• Troubleshoot and repair facility machinery.
• Maintain, clean and secure work area and tools.
