The Town of Franklin Police Department is seeking Police Officers to join our team. Officers patrol the town by car or on foot, enforce laws, deter crime, and assist the public to keep Franklin safe.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or GED (a 2- or 4-year degree is preferred), successful completion of North Carolina's BLET training, and a valid NC driver's license. Certified officers may apply; position open until filled.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 2- or 4-year degree preferred.
• Must have successfully completed North Carolina's Basic Law Enforcement Training (BLET).
• Must meet NC Justice Training and Standards Commission requirements for certified officers.
• Must possess a BLET certificate.
• Must possess a NC driver's license.

Responsabilités

• Patrol the Town of Franklin by car or on foot.
• Prevent, detect, and investigate disturbances and crime.
• Enforce state laws and town ordinances; ensure public safety.
