Job summary

Anchor Packaging, a Georgia-Pacific company, is seeking individuals to join our Paragould, AR team as Mixers. The role blends chemicals per quality dockets to manufacture specified plastic formulations, using Oracle to manage material flow and labeling.

Day and night shifts are available, with a pay range of $20.00–$22.30 per hour based on experience. Responsibilities include handling raw materials, operating blending equipment, and maintaining equipment and safety standards in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or at least 3 months of manufacturing experience.
• Experience operating a computer.
• Familiarity with Oracle system for material identification and scanning.

Responsibilities

• Remove unused raw material, scrap plastic, cardboard, and trash from inline machines daily and when orders are complete.
• Identify material in Oracle, label it, and scan to storage area.
• Connect raw materials to feed hoppers and blending systems as needed.
• Troubleshoot material flow with manufacturing personnel for production lines.
• Identify material lines for each blender/extruder and ensure correct material.
• Set blender settings per line based on finish product specs and available materials.
• Manage regrind percentages to control surge bin and regrind levels.
• Work from Oracle work orders and determine percentages to produce the finished product.
• Identify all raw materials used in the facility.
• Fill blenders and extruder hoppers with materials for the work order.
• Operate baler, compactor, scales, wrapper machines; maintain and clean equipment.
