Old World Industries is seeking a Blending Supervisor to direct a team responsible for blending chemicals for finished solutions used in gallon-, drum-, and bulk-filling operations. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and process improvements in a manufacturing setting.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years in a supervisory role, a high school diploma or GED, and a Merchant Mariner Document license for barge unloading. A valid driver’s license and forklift certification are pluses.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3-5 years of supervisory or team lead experience.
• Merchant Mariner Document license required for barge unloading.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Forklift certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach and mentor blending team to maintain efficiency and quality.
• Ensure safety workplace practices (PPE, policies, regulations).
• Drive safety standards using 6S methodologies.
• Oversee all blending activities including slurries and coolants.
• Maintain accurate paperwork and batch documentation.
• Record chemical usage and lot numbers on batch sheets.
• Unloading bulk chemicals via barge, truck, rail, or tanker.
• Assist investigations of out-of-spec materials.
• Keep blending area orderly and clean.
• Encourage teamwork and continuous process improvements.
• Support ad-hoc projects as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
